Barrens Hut is located only a few hundred metres off the Royal National Park. It is named after a squatter's hut built a long time ago into the side of the rocky cliff. The actual dive site is amazing, with the main part of the dive formed by a dramatic drop-off from the reef top. The reef extends from the rock platform out to the site, with the top at a depth of 12 to 16 metres. 21-25mt Intermediate
Coral Canyon is one of the lesser known reef systems off Cronulla. The depth ranges to around 20-25mt and is a really nice area for sponges and other life such as the nudibranch pictured. This site is only serviced by Voyager Charters and is just one of many dive sites that can be accessed. 20-25mt Intermediate
Jibbon Reef is located just outside the mouth of the Port Hacking river and used to be home to a number of resident grey nurse sharks. Around the peaks the bombora gently slopes to 9 metres before dropping away more dramatically. 12-27mt Beginner
Magic Point at Maroubra is the only location in Sydney where divers can regularly dive with grey nurse sharks. This dive can be a special experience and Voyager Charters schedule regular trips to dive with these magnificant creatures. Grey nurse sharks are not considered to be dangerous to humans. They are a passive species with teeth designed for capturing prey such as fish, squid and crustaceans. 18-25mt Intermediate
This dive site is located straight out from Port Hacking off Cronulla. The average depth here is 28 to 35 metres. There are a number of large boulders in this area and lots of cracks in the reef to explore. This is an excellent site to see sponges, gorgonias, sea whips and much more life. During winter you may also see large numbers of Wobbegongs and Port Jackson sharks. 28-35mt Intermediate
The Hilda is located directly off Cape Bailey lighthouse at Kurnell on the northern side of Cronulla beach. This wreck is now a debris trail and can be followed from start to finish, whilst identifying the various parts of the wreck such as the anchor, boiler tubes and winch. This dive is suitable for advanced divers with the wreck lying in between 21-24 metres. 21-24mt Intermediate
The SS Kelloe is one of Sydney's better deep water wrecks and lies around 1.2 km off Little Bay in the Eastern suburbs. This wreck was a collier that sunk in 1902 after colliding with the SS Dunmore. 48 - 51mt Intermediate
This wreck is located around 2km off the coast of the Royal National Park in Sydney. The wreck lies in about 48 metres of water after sinking in heavy seas on the 17th May 1919. The SS Tuggerah was a coal steamer that carroied coal primarily from the Illawarra region to Sydney. This is a fantastic dive for the right diver in the correct conditions. This is an advanced deep dive and the site is known for it's strong currents at times. 48 mt Advanced
